The Khayrallah Center welcomes U.S. Rep. Donna Shalala (D-FL) to NC State, where she will deliver a public talk about her life and career. Shalala, who is of Lebanese descent, served as the United States Secretary of Health and Human Services under President Bill Clinton. She was president of the University of Miami in Coral Gables from 2001 through 2015.
